As California’s housing crisis continues to outpace traditional funding solutions, innovative financing programs are emerging to fill the gap. This session will explore how the California Municipal Finance Authority (CMFA) has expanded beyond LIHTC to create additional affordable housing opportunities. Speakers will discuss 501(c)(3) affordable housing financings, as well as CMFA’s Charitable Affordable Housing, Middle-Income Housing, and Recycled Bond programs—tools designed to drive housing production and affordability at scale.
